When should I book holiday lighting?
Earlier than you think. Installation slots for late November fill through the autumn, and commercial properties that need to be lit for the start of the shopping season book earliest of all. Call well ahead.
Do you do commercial and HOA displays?
Yes. Retail plazas, office parks, HOA entrances, and common areas. Those projects need a plan for consistent appearance, adequate power, and a firm installation date, all of which we handle.
Can you add permanent outdoor outlets for my display?
That is often the best money you will spend. A few properly placed, GFCI-protected exterior outlets on their own circuit removes the extension cord problem permanently, and they are useful the rest of the year too.
Why does my display trip the breaker every night?
Either the circuit is overloaded, or moisture is getting into a connection and tripping the GFCI. Both are common and both are fixable, usually by splitting the load across circuits and getting connectors out of standing water.
How much does Christmas light installation cost near me?
It is driven by the length of roofline and the height, how many storeys and how steep the pitch is, the number of trees and landscape elements, whether you are supplying the lights or we are, and whether takedown and storage are included. Whether the property has enough properly protected exterior circuits to carry the display matters too, since adding them is separate work. Local and national published figures vary widely and none of them is our price. We look at the property, then quote it.
Do I need to buy my own Christmas lights?
Either way works, and we will tell you which we would do. Customer-supplied lights are fine as long as they are outdoor rated and in sound condition, and we will flag any string with cracked insulation or a damaged plug rather than hang it. Commercial-grade strings cost more up front and survive several seasons of Florida sun, which usually works out cheaper than replacing consumer strings every year.
How long does it take to install Christmas lights on a house?
A single-storey house with a straightforward roofline is often a morning. Two-storey homes, steep pitches, extensive tree lighting, and commercial properties run to a full day or more. Adding exterior outlets or dedicated circuits before the display goes up is a separate visit that we schedule ahead of the installation date.
Is professional Christmas light installation safe for my roof and gutters?
It is if the right clips are used. We attach to shingle edges and gutter lips with clips made for the purpose, and we do not put nails, screws, or staples through roofing or fascia. The real risk to a roof comes from ladder work and from people walking on tile or on a wet pitch, which is precisely the part we would rather do than have you do.
Do you take the lights down after the holidays?
Yes, takedown can be part of the arrangement, and it is worth agreeing when we book the installation rather than in January. Leaving a display up through spring degrades the strings in the Florida sun and leaves connections sitting in weather for months. If we are storing the lights for you, we label them by run so next season goes up faster.
